Acts 2:42
We believe in the only true God, as the trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He created all things through his Son (the Word, John 1:1) and offers salvation to ALL through Jesus’ sacrifice.
~ Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus is the Savior of the world, to Him all authority is given and the Head of the church. We are committed to the person and deity of Jesus Christ, born of the virgin Mary.
It is our desire that all people come to place their trust in Christ to forgive and lead them, and that they grow in their relationship with him.
~ Matthew 16:16; John 1:14, 26-38; Hebrews 13:8
He is the third person of the Trinity. He is our Helper and the Spirit of Truth, given to Christians by God so we may abide in Him.
~ John 16: 5-15, 1 John 4:13
We base our teaching upon the Bible, which we believe is the inspired, inerrant Word of God.
We adopt no rule of faith and practice but the Bible, as through it we may be equipped for every good work. Where the Bible speaks, we speak. Where the Bible is silent, we are silent. Where there is an obvious opinion, the diversity is treated with Love.
~ Ephesians 6:17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Anyone who repents of his sins, and confesses Christ is Lord will be saved to have everlasting life. We believe everything that is necessary to become a Christian is in the New Testament.
~ Matthew 28: 18-20; John 3:16; 1 John 4:14-15
Baptism is a positive command. It is the act of obedience commanded by Christ. We practice baptism by immersion.
~ Matthew 3:16; Mark 16:16; John 3:5,23; Acts 2:38-39, 8:38;
~ Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21
We join together weekly to remember Christ’s sacrifice and have communion with Him, through the use of bread and juice as Jesus set up.
~ Matthew 26:26-29; John 6:51; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:27-32
The church’s members are to work together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ. Christ is the head of the church and Savior of the body.
~ Ephesians 4:11-16; 5:21, 23; Jude 22-23
We are an Independent Christian Church. As such we are locally controlled by a board of elders and deacons, following the doctrines of the Christian Restoration Movement.
Our constitution is the New Testament of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our by-laws of operation are determined by the local congregation as recommended by our board, based on the operation of the New Testament church.
Board meetings are held once a month
